Coming to us with only an idea, we took the responsibility to work hand in hand with the founder to transform this innovative idea into a digital business. In order to succeed, we focused on the need to change the behaviour of being late, by creating a fun tool that will help both the later comer and its victims. Once the digital idea was cleared, we had to focus on an effective way to market it, and reveal the need for it.
Our approach commenced by creating a seamless experience for both social and business users, including for each one unique and relevant features. This experience then had to come to life through an accessible identity, a user friendly application design and powerful communication content.
Having in mind the digital aspect of the business, digital branding was at the core of our designing thinking. An iconographic approach for the logo and brand language was adopted. Combined with a mix of soft colours and striking highlight colour, Minutes Away brand identity is all about accessibility, and flexibility.
Application Design and Development
Following the finalisation of the user experience for both the social and business apps, and setting their both apps features, we initiated the apps designs. knowing that both mobile applications have the same core functionality, our challenge was to adopt the same design yet create create a clear differentiation that answers the usage and audience differences.
Once the design challenge was sort out, the challenge of developing the app and integrating worldwide platforms such as Google maps, Dropbox, Spotify, Facebook, Paypal was a great success.
Such innovations are a challenge to make and communicate, especially when no competition is there to pave the way or the need for it. So we worked on a strategy to create that need, and bring to our audiences attention the demotivating effect of late people.
Once the application was launched, the joy of reaching an event on time and the business efficiency behind punctuality was initiated. Adding to it the app download campaigns for both android and apple that drove a noticeable number of app downloads, in just on month of its launch.
Content Creation and Social Media management
Because no business, digital or not, can skip the digital sphere, we were keen to create creative content, for both our pre-app launch and post- app launch phase. Our content included social media posts, Articles, infographics, memes… So that by the time the app was launched, our number of followers and overall social media engagement was quite high.
