An all-inclusive holiday to Bali for 2 amongst other valuable prizes was on the line in the Face of Blush Central competition! Running for one month, the competition asked for entrants to create a profile with Blush Central and share an image of themselves, tagging Blush Central, to social media to have a chance of becoming the face of Blush Central and taking home the valuable prize.
A great deal of planning went into the preparation for the Face of Blush Central competition to ensure it would run smoothly, be promoted correctly and ultimately, be a success for the business.
The aim of the competition was to not only find a face for the brand, but to also increase memberships significantly in the month the competition was running.
To achieve this Adcreators put together the terms and conditions for entry that would require every entrant to have a membership with Blush Central and to tag a new image of themselves on social media, thus also increasing brand awareness through the amount of social mentions.
Adcreators used their network of connections, including Jessica Green, a model and actress with over 300K Instagram followers, former Miss Australia and Oceania Courtney Thorpe and a range of other influential social media stars to promote the competition to their followers. The influencers chosen were carefully selected based on their connections and influence in the creative industry of Australia.
At the same time a social media campaign was promoted through Blush Central’s Facebook and Instagram accounts and direct email marketing was utilized to attract the maximum amount of entries possible.
The competition was a huge success with hundreds of entries and new members signing up during the month long competition. This had a flow on effect meaning interaction on the site hit a record high and castings received record amounts of applications.
The Blush Central social media profiles also saw a significant increase in followers and engagement thought the competition and continued to be felt after.
